Course Materials: You do not need to purchase any text for this course! Required Text: Human Nutrition by the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Food Science and Human Nutrition Program. Emphasizes nutrients, balanced diet, weight control and the nutritional needs of an individual. Course Description (Course Outline located in College Catalog online): Teaches the relationship between nutrition and human development. Students will be notified via email and/or Canvas of any changes. Lectures are presented to be self-paced (Asynchronous class). The only required time(s) are those listed in the schedule for assessments.
